Privacy Policy

Overview

Caseclip (Bundle ID: com.caseclip.share) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Caseclip app.

Caseclip is designed as a personal, on-device lookbook: we do not operate a public social network for selling data, we do not show third-party ads in the core experience described here, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the app, Caseclip may process:

• Local profile nickname and session created by one-tap sign-in
• Saved case clips, likes, DIY drafts, exported images, and Points balance stored on device
• Photos, videos, or voice notes you choose to add when sharing or scanning
• Purchase receipts related to consumable Points (handled via Apple)

How data is stored

App content and settings are stored locally on your device by default (for example via on-device storage). We do not require you to create a cloud account to use core browsing, saving, DIY, or local publishing features.

Device permissions

Caseclip may request:

• Photo Library — choose case photos or videos to share or scan
• Camera — capture case looks or DIY-related photos
• Microphone — record optional short voice notes with video or shares
• Notifications (optional) — light reminders such as publish success
• Tracking (if shown by the system) — only as described in the system prompt, to improve private browsing experience

Permissions are requested only when related features are used. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings. Denying a permission only disables the related feature.

Third-party services

In-app purchases for Points are processed by the Apple App Store / StoreKit. Payment card details are handled by Apple; Caseclip does not collect your full payment card number.

Legal documents may be hosted on HTTPS pages we operate (for example via our policy site). Opening Terms or Privacy from the app uses an external browser / Safari view.

Data deletion

Use Delete Account in the Me tab to erase local Caseclip data on this device. Uninstalling the app also removes local app data. App Store purchase history remains with Apple under Apple’s policies.

Children's privacy

Caseclip does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Caseclip after an update means you accept the revised policy.
