Huee is a personal color lab on your iPhone and iPad. Seasonal color diagnosis, archives, palettes, and community posts are processed and stored on your device. Huee does not upload diagnosis photos or face-related color samples to our servers, and does not send them to any third-party AI or cloud analysis service.
Huee stores on your device: local login session, color archives and daily color logs (notes, selected swatches, optional voice memos), diagnosis results (season label and color traits), Points balance and unlock flags, and community posts/follows you create. Photos you capture or import for diagnosis are held temporarily in memory for on-device analysis and are not uploaded. Deleting your account removes this local data from the device.
When you start Photo Diagnosis and agree to the on-screen notice, Huee uses a front-facing portrait (camera or photo library) only to sample skin-tone color values (undertone, lightness, saturation, contrast proxies) on your device. Huee does not create a face template, biometric identity, or facial recognition profile. Facial photos and derived color traits are not shared with any third party, including third-party AI providers. Photos are not uploaded to Huee servers. Analysis results may remain in local app storage until you delete the related archive or delete your account. You can decline the notice and skip diagnosis.
Huee’s color diagnosis runs entirely on-device with a local algorithm. We do not transmit personal data, facial images, or color samples to OpenAI, Google, or any other third-party AI service. Apple processes In-App Purchases through StoreKit; that payment data is handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
Camera access is used when you tap Photo Diagnosis and capture a portrait. Photo library access is used when you choose an existing front-facing photo for diagnosis, add community images, or save an exported color card or palette board. Microphone access is used only when you record an optional voice note on a daily color log. Push notifications, if enabled after login, may deliver reminders you allow. App Tracking Transparency, if shown, is only to understand feature usage—not to sell data or show third-party ads.
Points packs are consumable purchases processed by Apple. Points unlock optional one-time actions such as exporting a color card or palette board. Purchase records are managed by Apple.
